Pressure sensors for industrial applications
Thick-film technology is at the heart of our industrial pressure sensors. It combines printed measuring bridges on ceramic and stainless steel diaphragms to create media-resistant and robust measuring cells for recording pressure, level and flow rate. In conjunction with the appropriate signal processing, this results in precise, long-term stable and economical sensors for a wide range of pressure tasks.

Functional principle of thick-film sensors
- Applying pressure deforms the ceramic membrane minimally elastically.
- The deformation changes the value of the applied thick-film resistors.
- Wheatstone bridge converts the change in resistance into a raw electrical signal.
- An integrated signal path (typically ASIC) linearises, Temperature-compensates and amplifies the signal.
